Cory began his teaching career his senior year in high school as a section leader. From then on he knew his passion was to teach anyone willing to learn music. In 2010 he had a brief pause to serve his country in Iraq. Still serving his country as a Texas National Guardsman with the award winning 36th Infantry Division Band he serves as a section leader and drum set player for the jazz band going on 13 years. After graduating college in 2018 Cory actively works in the area teaching masterclasses and performing with different bands such as the San Antonio Wind Symphony, Symphony Viva, San Antonio Brass Band, and local jazz venues. Outside of that he continues to build his lesson studio to online users as well as building group classes.

Cory Sales Percussion Studio is continually growing. Cory is constantly motivated and inspired by the endless talent and passion for learning that one day he hopes to have a permanent building location for students to come to. Cory currently only takes 25 students who learn private lessons with him.

Will you be one of the 25?
